Got a question? Contact Us!Grupthink History
Leading companies have begun to embrace a new culture of corporate transparency and customer-driven innovation. The question is no longer "Do we become more open?" it's "How do we become more open?"
Years ago, we saw both the promise and pitfalls of online communities as feedback mechanisms. While forums were overflowing with rich community input, the chaos, noise, and redundancy interfered with the knowledge it could provide. What was needed was a better online discussion platform, and that lead us to develop Grupthink.com.
We built Grupthink.com in 2006 to see if our unique conversation platform would be useful and enjoyable for people. Grupthink.com quickly validated the notion that there is a better way to conduct online discussions, drawing over a million visitors a year. In 2007, co-founder Steven Sundheim was invited to speak at an MIT innovation lab where he caught the interest of an innovation leader from a well-known consumer-products company. We began working with that company in 2007, allowing them to use a private, customized version of Grupthink that powered online focus groups. That collaboration has lead to the development of Grupthink, and now any company can start their own, Grupthink-powered communities. See Grupthink in action...
Grupthink enables organizations to discover, aggregate, and prioritize the opinions of their constituents in real-time through a web-based, community-driven discussion system. This feedback community engages customers in open dialogue and captures feedback in a way that is easy for the company to measure and use.
Now, you can start your own feedback community using the Grupthink platform.
